Taqueria D&K: Authentic Mexican Flavors in Lodi, NJ

One of the best tacos I've ever tried. I think my favorite was the carnitas taco. Definitely coming back here.

A hidden gem for sure , the trees block the front of the restaurant. But it’s very delicious, came here numerous times and never disappointed. The tacos are fresh and loaded for the price it’s worth it !. Never given dry limes !!! Which is the best part and the horchata is amazing. I do wish they had elote but they still have a great amount of food on the menu. I’ll come back and post more photos if I can remember.

I got Guacamole, $6 Dollars for small container with mashed avocado, nothing else coming with the order. Chicken tacos, I did not enjoy the gummy tortillas.

Had lunch here on a Sunday, it was empty when we got in. We just wanted to pick up some tacos and sit by the window and have a quick meal. The 2 ladies working by the counter had difficulty communicating with us in English and eventually made us sit at a table. My bf and I ordered the carnitas and birria tacos. The tacos were fine, not great. The scallion vegetables were way too big. They give you free chips when you sit. We didn’t want to be served but ended up getting table service and paying tip.

A very pleasant experience with food to match. Food tasted close to what you would taste if it was home cooked. The waiter/cashier was very patient and helpful. The steak quesadilla will bring me back here.

I was looking to pick up some Mexican food for lunch at a place where burritos did not cost $17+. That's when my search landed me on Taqueria D&K. I called to order for pick up on a Saturday at around 12:30 and was quoted a 20 minute wait time. I ordered two California burritos - one with al pastor, one campechano, and and order of quesabirria tacos. I liked that they ask you if you want red or green sauce inside the burritos. You also get to choose if you want pineapples with your al pastor (get them). The al pastor burrito was probably my favorite of the bunch. It is well-filled and well-wrapped. The ingredients are distributed evenly, all the way to the ends of the burrito. So you won't have one bite that's just beans and rice, and another with just meat. It may be the best burrito I've had in a while and for $12?! That is a steal! I didn't like the campechano as much because there was some spice in there that was a little too overpowering (cinnamon?). Quesabirria tacos were also only okay but I don't like the beef in birria tacos in general because it's usually dry and bland, but I love the cheese, griddled tortilla, and consommé part. I wish they could somehow make the al pastor into quesabirria. Or maybe next time, I'll just order a quesadilla and get a side of the consommé. Will definitely be back to try some tacos and some of their other menu items. I'm hoping this will be me go to Mexican takeout spot.

Very authentic Mexican tacos. Delicious made to order. Friendly staff. Good pricing. My new favorite taco place. They also have a 2nd location at 613 Main St. Paterson, NJ

My husband and I worked up an appetite shopping at the Columbus Farmers Market in NJ and happened upon their food truck/tent. The tacos were delicious, service was great, Erica the hostess was so sweet and educated us about their restaurants and Central Mexican Cuisine. We highly recommend their food and restaurants. Looking forward to going back!!!
